Results of the Survey

I would like to express my gratitude to those who took the time to respond to my survey. In this analysis, I will examine the outcomes of the survey, considering that the respondents were primarily my classmates and friends residing in Japan.
The majority of participants were Japanese, with only a few respondents from different nationalities, thereby providing a glimpse of international perspectives within the survey results. It is worth noting that the survey did not receive substantial input from middle-aged individuals, who I believe are more likely to express grievances about loud children. If given another opportunity to research this topic, I would make a conscious effort to include respondents from this age group to assess potential variations in opinions based on age.
Regarding the type of residences people inhabit, approximately 80% of the participants lived in reinforced concrete apartments, which are known for their effective soundproofing. Interestingly, there were no responses from individuals residing in wooden apartments, which typically have inferior sound insulation. Consequently, it can be inferred that a limited number of participants encountered issues with noisy children.
As anticipated, 80% of the respondents answered "NO" to the question, "Have you ever experienced any difficulties due to noise caused by children?" However, among those who answered "YES," most seemed to be troubled by children's voices. It is surprising to observe that none of the respondents mentioned being bothered by children's footsteps, considering that this was the primary complaint voiced by individuals on Twitter.
The survey participants generally appeared unaffected by the noise generated by children. When asked to rate the impact of the noise on their daily lives on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 representing minimal impact and 5 signifying significant disruption, the majority selected 1. A few respondents chose 2 or 3, but no one rated the impact as 4 or 5.
